I used this product with my Cricut machine on the medium iron-on setting, and it cut smoothly in one pass. Weeding was straightforward, and the adhesion was adequate. It appeared to be more resistant to shrinking compared to another brand of HTV. As shown in the attached picture, this resulted in a slight gap between the black outline and the interior color of the design. Iâll need to experiment with the sizing of different vinyl materials to achieve a better fit in the future.
It’s important to note that the roll is only 10″ wide; if your design exceeds this width, you’ll have to cut a piece along its length. This could lead to some waste if it reduces the usable area, but it hasn’t been a significant issue with my current designs.
I appreciate that it comes wrapped in an instruction sheet and bagged in plastic to protect it from dirt and moisture.
On a negative note, I dislike that the roll is secured with tape that leaves a sticky residue that’s difficult to remove. If this residue gets on the backing of your iron-on piece, it can compromise the barrier you use on top. In my case, it ruined a piece of parchment paper I had been using without any issues, forcing me to replace it. While it’s not a major problem, it is quite annoying.
