Initially, the heat press appeared to be fine, but I quickly discovered that it tips over easily due to its unbalanced design and does not heat evenly. I’ve had to adjust my materials in various directions to achieve adequate heat for quality results, and I’ve ruined a few projects because of the inconsistent heating. I cannot recommend this product.

Here are a few points to consider: 1) The instructions are minimal at bestâessentially just plug it in, turn it on, and hit the mode button. However, there’s a bit more to it, but I managed to figure it out. 2) It may not seem like it, but the device tips over when fully opened, so I had to add some weights underneath itâsee attached photos. 3) There isnât actually a âmodeâ button, which is confusing. You need to press the âsetâ button instead. To adjust the time and temperature, use the up and down buttons, but pay attention to the green numbers (even though the red numbers indicate temperature). Once you’ve set your desired temperature, press the set button again to adjust the time. Repeat this to finalize everything, and once more to start. The red numbers display the current temperature, while the green numbers show the time. I used my phone as a timer because I wasnât confident in the built-in feature. I waited for the 50 seconds I wanted, but I never heard a beep. Iâll give it another shot to see if that function works. I recommend checking out a YouTube video for help with setting the temperature and time; thatâs how I figured it out.

I absolutely love this mug press! Itâs the best one Iâve used so far, and I’ve tried several. It easily presses the entire mug, and the pressure is just right. Overall, it’s an excellent mug press.

The instructions provided were not very helpful since my controls were different. It took me several tries to figure out the right instructions. Once I got it working, I encountered more issuesâthe heating was uneven, causing the HTV to adhere in some areas but not others during the same press. Additionally, if I let the top section swing fully back, the press became unbalanced and tipped over. The tension adjuster was also quite difficult to turn, and I never managed to get it heavy enough for one of my projects. While the price is appealing, I guess you get what you pay for. I feel that giving it 3 stars is being quite generous.
