The shaft connecting the top and bottom is too flexible and bends under pressure. As a result, when you secure the top to press an item, the pressure is concentrated inside, leaving the outside with hardly any pressure. You can see this when it’s locked down, as the springs near the pivot arm are compressed while those on the outer side remain untouched. For instance, when pressing a t-shirt, the vinyl sticks on one side but lifts on the other. I’m not sure how to fix this issue, but I plan to reinforce it to avoid a total loss.

My only issue is that I can’t seem to get the timer to start and stop, which causes it to beep continuously while I’m pressing. This is my first heat press, but I’ve used several others belonging to friends, and this one stands out for me. The machine is well-constructed; it’s not overly heavy, but be cautious when lifting the top press to the side, as it can tip off the table if you’re not careful. It heats up quickly, and the temperature adjusts depending on the project. While it can be a bit bulky, the 15×15 size is quite manageable. The timer is excellent, making it easy to avoid over or under pressing a shirt. If your timer isn’t pre-mounted like my friend’s, make sure to mount it before use; otherwise, the plastic cover may melt when you swing the top press away to check your work.

I reached out to Amazon with my complaint and followed the instructions by sending a video. I watched the response video and made the suggested corrections, but they haven’t resolved the psi or temperature issue. I’ve adhered to all the guidance provided to seek assistance. Having used similar machines in the past, I can confidently say this one is not functioning properly; the heat distribution is uneven, and the bottom plate appears bent or misaligned, leading to inconsistent psi across the surface. It’s clearly visible, and despite increasing the time and setting it to the “highest” heat, the transfers are still failing. My frustration is growing with this constant back-and-forth, especially since I’ve seen similar problems reported on multiple websites.

The vibration causes it to move, making everything I tried it on ineffective. Now I need to get approval from the seller to return it, and it has to be shipped back to the US. The return cost from Canada will be almost as much as the item itself. Amazon should clearly highlight this information in BOLD near the purchase option so that buyers are aware of the return restrictions.
