The concept of the extendable spout for reaching all areas of my sewing machine is fantastic. Unlike some other reviewers, my Zoom spout came with the red cap. The oil’s quality seems excellent, with the right viscosity for its intended purpose of periodic lubrication for metal-on-metal moving parts like bearings in a sewing machine. Unlike other machine oils I’ve used, this one is clear and clean, not discolored like used motor oil.
The extendable tube makes it incredibly easy to use, and with a gentle squeeze of the bottle, I can control the dosage by observing the movement of air bubbles in the tube to monitor the oil flow. The only reason I haven’t given it a full five stars is due to a slight oil leakage at the junction between the extendable tube and the bottle spout. To prevent spills or stains in my oiling kit, I simply double bag the bottle in a small zip lock bag. Alternatively, I can store the bottle upright on a shelf with the tube fully retracted and the red cap on, wiping the tube before putting it away. Given the minimal leakage and the practicality of the “zoom tube,” I am very satisfied with this purchase overall.

Additionally, the inside of the package was oily, which made my box of sewing pins slippery. I had to rinse the pins off. On the bright side, the oil itself worked exceptionally well on my Singer.
