I considered waiting to write this review, but I’m really impressed with my heat press. The instructions were brief but clear, and they were in English. It shipped quickly from Texas and was easy to set up. It’s heavy enough that it doesn’t tip over, which I saw mentioned in another review. The package included a shirt and an iron-on, so I could start using it right away. I appreciate that the cord is removable and a standard type, making it easy to replace if needed. I love all the accessories, although I haven’t had a chance to use them all yet. The built-in Teflon sheet over the heat press means I don’t have to worry about burning my materials. It also came with two extra heat-resistant pads. At first, I didn’t see the need for both, but I quickly realized their importance when working with stuffed animals. It’s convenient because I can remove a pad for thicker projects instead of adjusting the height with the knobs. The pressure is fantastic and it moves smoothly. I’ve already used it to fix old iron-ons that had been through the dryer several times, and I was amazed that just 16 seconds in the heat press brought them back to life. I absolutely love this heat press and will keep recommending it to family and friends. I paid less than the Amazon’s choice heat press, but I have no doubt this one will earn that spot soon. I’m writing a mid-review in hopes that this company will come through. I purchased this press for my home business, where I do a lot of pressing. It worked wonderfully for 33 days, but then one morning, I turned it on and got NOTHING—no lights, no heat, no sound, absolutely NOTHING. I checked everything and confirmed that it wasn’t my fault; it was the machine. I wasn’t too worried at first, given the generally good reviews and the possibility of receiving a faulty part. The company responded to my inquiry fairly quickly.
Here’s the issue: they indicated that the replacement part is overseas (just like them), which means it will take an eternity to arrive. After some back-and-forth, they finally provided me with a time frame for the replacement—ONE MONTH! It’s frustrating that it will take longer to get the part than the press actually worked. I find this unacceptable, but I understand that sometimes parts fail. I informed them that this situation is causing me to lose money and business, but they seemed indifferent. I’m really hoping that when I finally receive my replacement part, it will be worth all the hassle and stress!

I was excited to receive a Cricut for Christmas and began exploring their Easy Press products. However, I found their prices to be quite high, so I looked into alternative options since I didn’t want to use my regular iron. I chose a model that includes a flat heating pad, a curved pad for cups, another for hats, and a small circular one for plates, all of which come with a Teflon cover. While I found the programming a bit tricky at first, I managed to create two infusible ink shirts with ease. Next, I’m planning to use heat transfer vinyl, and I’m confident this heating press will work perfectly for that. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase.

However, I couldn’t give a proper rating because I’m quite frustrated with my current situation. The handle keeps loosening, and I have to constantly tighten it to avoid burning my items. Additionally, it turns off by itself while heating up and doesn’t stay on for more than a minute. This is affecting my work, and I haven’t been able to fulfill my orders because my heat press isn’t functioning properly. I’ve only had it since July and was really excited about it. I’ve heard people say it might be the fuse, but I’m not sure where to find it since no instructions were included. The pictures I’ve seen show signs of burning! This feels like a fire hazard!

I would give this product zero stars if I could. My first problem arose when the press became stuck in one position. After my husband was able to file down the grooves caused by the swiveling, I managed to use it again, but that was after just a month of use in April. By June, while working on a large order, I noticed the temperature setting constantly fluctuating—up and down, never stable. I reset it multiple times, but the problem persisted.
About two weeks ago, I discovered that the handle used to swivel the press was loose. Unfortunately, there’s no way to tighten it as it’s attached to the top where the heating plate is. Now, one screw has completely fallen off, and the other is so loose that I can’t use the handle, making it difficult to maneuver. The final straw was when it started smoking and burning from the white insulated wires connecting the control box to the heating plate. It was too hot to touch.
As a result, I can no longer use it due to fire hazards. I purchased this product in February 2019, and it arrived in March. Now, just seven months later, my faulty press is unusable, and I need to find a replacement. DO NOT BUY THIS PRESS!!!

Update (5/10/20): Unfortunately, the unit stopped turning on after just over a year of use, despite careful handling. I followed all troubleshooting steps available. I contacted the vendor, and after a few emails discussing the issue, they replaced the entire unit. We initially thought about just replacing the defective part, but the vendor opted to send a brand new unit instead. I must say, they are truly exceptional! I highly recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a machine for their hobby. They definitely stand behind their products. Thank you!
